The new bone graft takes around nine to twelve months to heal before your doctor can place the dental implants into the grafted bone.
Autogenous Bone Grafting
Sometimes, there is an insufficient bone quantity to support implants in the areas needed. We may need to use some bone from another mouth area to implant them in the deficient area. The area of choice is usually where your wisdom teeth used to be.
Implant Site Development
