Customized Take-Home Trays

 

Customized take-home trays range from $200 to $600. These dentist-dispensed trays are created from a mold of your teeth and designed to fit your unique mouth for maximum effectiveness. Take-home kits incorporate an easy-to-use, concentrated peroxide gel that remains on your teeth for an hour or longer (sometimes overnight), and can whiten your teeth about four or five shades.

 

In-Office Tooth Bleaching

 

Significant color change in a short period of time is the primary benefit of in-office whitening. At the Center for Exceptional Dentistry, we offer a new type of bleaching; the KoR Whitening Deep Bleaching, developed by Dr. Rob Kurthy. This highly effective procedure requires two dental visits and is the only system successful for treating congenital and tetracycline-related tooth discoloration. The KoR Whitening Deep Bleaching also causes less tooth sensitivity than other systems.

 

Dr. Kurthy’s bleaching technique costs about $1,500. It is so effective that it also has the power to revitalize porcelain veneers. Until now, porcelain veneers that discolored over time had to be replaced.

 

Drugstore Tooth Whitening Treatments

 

One-size-fits-all disposable bleaching trays cost between $40 and $80 and can be purchased at your local drugstore. Whitening strips run about $25 and provide results for about four months after you use them every day for two weeks. Drugstore whitening methods can lighten your teeth several shades and are a cost-effective method for mildly brightening your smile.
