We appreciate your visit to the Center for Aesthetic Dentistry. We offer a complete line of cosmetic, neuromuscular, and general dentistry treatments for people in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area and have been doing so for over 10 years.

We take the extra time necessary to get to know our patients and develop trusting relationships with them. Dr. Sullivan was born and raised in Pittsburgh. He graduated from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 1990. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from University of Pittsburgh in 1995. The next year, he completed an advanced hospital residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Pittsburgh. During this residency, Dr. Sullivan developed invaluable skills necessary to treat medically-compromised patients.

 

Immediately after completing the residency program, the VA Hospital hired him. Dr. Sullivan was appointed Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh in 2004. He was appointed the Program Director for the General Residency at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh in 2008. As Program Director, he provides both didactic and clinical instruction on a variety of topics, including endodontics and dental implants. Dr. Sullivan is committed to on-going education and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is the Off-Campus Education Coordinator for the University of Pittsburgh and was voted one of America’s top dentists by Consumer Council of America 2009.

 

Krista (Wagner) Stockhausen is a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh and currently resides in South Hills. Having worked as a Dental Assistant for the first five years of her career, Krista now coordinates all front desk duties and oversees treatment coordination. While spending most days answering phones, helping patients with insurance-related issues, and greeting patients, Krista will occasionally jump in and help out in the back as a dental assistant.

 

Leann Balistrieri was born and raised in Pittsburgh. After graduating at the top of her class from Median School of Allied Health Careers in 2004 she started her career as an expanded functions dental assistant.

 

She truly enjoys being in the dental field. Her Aunt and sister are in the dental filed as well and so at a young age she was thought and knew how important healthy teeth and gums are to overall health. For this reason, she likes helping and educating her patients achieve the best dental health possible.

 

In her spare time, Leann enjoys remodeling her house, traveling and seeing new places, reading , running and staying fit.

 

Courtney Salvini was born and still lives outside of Washington, PA. she currently lives on a street named after her grandparents and the farm they have owned. After she graduated high school, she went straight to dental hygiene school at West Liberty University. Once she graduated from the hygiene program, she started her career as a dental hygienist in a private practice where she worked for six years before joining our team.

 

Courtney became a part of our team in November 2009, because we were very impressed with her qualifications and personality and she liked how through and comprehensive Dr. Firouzi and our practice is about patient’s dental hygiene.

 

Her interests outside of the dental field include golf, and babysitting her niece and nephews.

 

Lindsey (Wagner) Slagle is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh; she graduated from the School of Dental Medicine in 2005 with a certificate in Dental Hygiene. In 2006, Lindsey received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health Management. Lindsey has been a part of our team since October 2007.

 

Lindsey resides in Greentree with her husband, Brian, and their two dogs, Peppi and Bailey. In her free time, Lindsey coaches the Seton La Salle varsity cheerleading squad. Lindsey also volunteers at local pre-schools and educates children about the importance of good dental hygiene.
